A selection of the latest entries to the Cheshire Life photography competition in association with Wilkinson Cameras
Hundreds of brilliant photographs have already been entered to our superb annual competition, but there is still time for you to shoot your way to the top.
Summer in Cheshire is a wonderful time to get out and about with your camera and make the most of the glorious views and longer days.
The superb pictures on these pages are just some of the shots uploaded to our website by readers in recent weeks. And while we can all enjoy the photos, they could win the photographers brilliant prizes in our annual competition which is once again sponsored by Preston-based Wilkinson’s Cameras.
As ever they have selected some wonderful prizes to give away to whoever takes the three pictures chosen by our panel of judges. The winner will receive a Nikon D3200 & AF-S 18-55 VR worth £445, second prize is a Nikon 1 J2 & 10-30mm White worth £400 and our third place photographer will win a Nikon Coolpix S9300 Red worth £200 (all prices correct as of January).
The judging panel will be led by Cheshire Life editor Louise Taylor who will choose the winners along with picture editor John Cocks and David Pilkington from Wilkinsons Cameras. And the shortlisted top 12 photographs will be considered for inclusion in the 2014 Cheshire Life calendar.

How to enter
The Cheshire Life competition is only open to non-professionals and entries must be uploaded to our website, cheshirelife.co.uk.
Click on the Photo tab at the top of the page and follow the link to upload your best pictures.
You will be asked to register, which is free and also allows you to comment on articles and photographs on the site, to enter competitions and to take advantage of special offers.
Once you’ve signed up you’ll be able to add your photos to the hundreds already online.
