Add your seasonal shots to Cheshire’s best gallery of contemporary photography
It’s cold outside, but that’s no reason not to get out there with your camera. The wintry weather provides all sorts of opportunities for photographers and can give a new look to a familiar scene.
Trees take on a ghostly appearance when shrouded with frost, everyday landscapes become magical when covered in snow and even our town and city centres can be given an other-worldly atmosphere in the watery winter light.
But whatever you take pictures of – and there’s no excuse not to, with cameras featuring every kind of helpful device – we’d like you to share them with us and our readers.
There’s already a wonderful gallery of shots on our website but in a county as beautiful and varied as ours there’s always something new to see.
Our army of amateur photographers has criss-crossed the county and the photographs on these pages are just some of the shots to have been added to the gallery by readers in recent weeks. And now it’s your turn. You never know, you might find your image chosen to appear in next month’s magazine. Imagine the warming glow that would give you.
