A guide to Chester and Bangor racecourses

Chester Chester is renowned for being a glamorous venue where style and fashion go hand in hand with the racing action.  Racing begins with the three day May Festival on Wednesday 4th, putting Chester in the racing spotlight nationally.  After May, we have another 11 days/evenings of racing throughout the summer months – each has its own unique identity to ensure a wide ranging appeal. To compliment the racing season, the Racecourse will play host to the Coutts International Polo weekend on 3rd & 4th June – indulge in the glitz and glamour of polo on the picturesque Roodee, the perfect place to watch one of the world’s most exciting sports. New for 2011, Chester Rocks is two day music festival that takes place at the Racecourse this July.  Some of the biggest stars in pop and rock have signed up, including Taio Cruz and Iggy Pop!
