We launch the Cheshire Life photography competition in association with Wilkinson Cameras
Our annual search for the county’s best photographers has become one of the magazine’s most popular fixtures. Each year we ask readers to get out and about around Cheshire with their cameras and share the results with us.
The quality of the images you produce never ceases to amaze us, making the job of choosing a top three very difficult.
Hundreds of pictures were uploaded to our website last year, which all showcased the beauty and variety of the county and photogenic parts of North Wales, Manchester and Liverpool: from the hills to the coast and the bustling towns and cities to our pretty villages. And don’t forget, your pictures can also include people!
This year’s competition is once again sponsored by Wilkinson’s Cameras and as ever they will provide wonderful prizes to whoever takes the three winning pictures which will be chosen by our panel judges later this year. Shortlisted entries will also be considered for publication in our 2015 calendar. Cheshire Life editor Louise Allen-Taylor will lead the panel of judges which will include our picture editor John Cocks, and David Parkinson from Wilkinson’s Cameras.

How to enter
The Cheshire Life competition is only open to non-professionals and we’ve made it even easier to enter.
Simply go online to cheshirelife.co.uk and click on the ‘Upload a Photo’ tab to be in with a chance of winning great camera equipment.
You will be asked to register, which is free and also allows you to comment on articles and photographs on the site and to take advantage of special offers.
