In 2014, Hattie Briggs from Stroud dropped out of her Russian degree at Oxford University to pursue a career in the music industry. With songs inspired by the likes of James Taylor, Eva Cassidy and Joni Mitchell, the past two years have seen growing success for the young singer/songwriter as her music has been played on national radio stations.

Throughout 2015, 23 year old Hattie Briggs met her goal of playing 100 concerts and 2016 is looking to be just as successful as Hattie has gigs lined up at a number of international venues, including some scheduled appearances at a small number of festivals.

Hattie Briggs’ music is available on iTunes and Spotify, and her new album is due for release on 8 July. Look out for the August issue of Cotswold Life for Katie Jarvis’ interview with Hattie Briggs. It will be on sale in July, or you can subscribe to the magazine here: http://bit.ly/1rt5btJ
