For those looking to unwind and escape the stresses of daily life, Grantley Hall could be the perfect solution.
“We want people to feel completely relaxed and at home here,” says Tracey Ractliffe, Director of Sales and Marketing at the luxury spa hotel.
Here, Tracey tells us why she believes Grantley Hall to be ‘the best place for a relaxing, country break’:
A breath-taking setting
As soon as you arrive through the wrought iron gates, you’re transported to another world. The hotel is beautiful and surrounded by 37 acres of pristine, landscaped grounds – we even have an English Heritage, listed ornamental Japanese garden with stunning water features. The hotel boasts its own kitchen garden, several charming outdoor terraces and a croquet lawn for guests to enjoy on sunny days.
Unwind in the spa and de-stress in the gym
Our range of wellness facilities is truly unrivalled. Guests can indulge in the deluxe spa, complete with large indoor pool, indoor to outdoor vitality pool, cedar hot tub on the outdoor terrace (with comfy beds and cabanas), and enjoy the only snow room in the North of England. We also offer spa treatments and products, to leave you feeling fresh and revitalised.
Alongside this, our brand new, state-of-the-art ELITE executive gym and wellness area is incredible. All trainers are fully-qualified, and guests can benefit from high-spec fitness equipment and a range of specialist treatments such as a cryotherapy chamber and underwater treadmill.
A treat for the tastebuds
We are extremely lucky to offer three distinct dining options: fine-dining at Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall, offering an exquisite 10-course tasting menu from a Yorkshire-born Michelin star chef, modern British cuisine at Fletchers, our main hotel restaurant with a beautiful courtyard area overlooking the river, and Pan-Asian food at Bar & Restaurant EightyEight, complete with a tempting cocktail menu.
Guests can also enjoy some traditional afternoon tea in the drawing room, or a salad or healthy snack at the Three Graces Spa Lounge.
If you just fancy a tipple, we have the Norton Bar, set within the stunning original hall and Valeria’s, our very own cocktail and champagne bar.
Palatial rooms and suites
Guests really do stay in the lap of luxury at Grantley Hall – our rooms are both opulent and functional, providing everything you need for a perfect, stress-free break.
Ideal, countryside location
There’s so much to do at Grantley Hall you may not want to leave, but if you do wish to venture out, there are plenty of attractions on our doorstep.
I’d definitely recommend visiting the Fountains Abbey, but we can provide you with a booklet of our top fifty things to do in the local area, so you have some options – if you manage to drag yourself away from the spa!
