Cornwall Life will be celebrating all things Scilly in its February issue with a special 12-page section focused on the wonder of these beautiful islands just off the coast of Cornwall. Ahead of this we are seeking our very own Scillionian columnist to feature regularly in the magazine.
Cornwall Life will be celebrating all things Scilly in its February issue with a special 12-page section focused on the wonder of these beautiful islands just off the coast of Cornwall. Ahead of this we are seeking our very own Scillionian columnist to feature regularly in the magazine.
We have teamed up with the Islands Partnership in the hunt for our Scilly Life columnist, who lives on the islands.
To be in with a chance, all you have to do is write 400wds on what makes life on the Islands so special? Closing date is 20 December 2013 when our judges, which includes Cornwall Life editor Carol Burns and Alasdair Moore from the Islands’ Partnership, who will chose the best three columns for publication in our February issue when we will announce our winner.
“We love the Isles of Scilly, and will be celebrating this fact in our February issue. Being so close to Cornwall, yet so unique, we are very keen to feature regularly the beautiful Isles of Scilly in Cornwall Life, so what better way than to find a Scilly-based columnist to keep us informed and entertained?” says Carol.
“We are delighted that the Islands’ Partnership has teamed up with Cornwall Life to enlighten their readers to the wonders of our beautiful islands,” adds fellow judge Alasdair Moore. “I hope the competition attracts a lot of entries and I really look forward to reading them all. This will be an incredible opportunity for one lucky resident.”
Our columnist should be a resident on the Islands, and be happy to write a regular feature in the magazine, along with a byline picture of themselves.
