Angela Harding at Snape Maltings Gallery
There’s a chance to see the work of artist and printmaker Angela Harding at Snape Maltings Gallery this month.
Angela lives in Rutland, but is a frequent visitor to Suffolk and Norfolk, as it’s a much loved sailing destination for her partner, Mark. While he’s enjoying the sailing around Orford, Angela is on dry land, sketching birds, wildlife and drawing inspiration from the wild landscape around her. She loves the music of Benjamin Britten and is drawn to the landscape his music evokes.
Angela studied fine art at Leicester 1979 – 1982 and later obtained an MA in fine art from Nottingham Trent University. She was the director of the regional printmaking centre, Leicester Print Workshop and has taught to degree level. She now works solely as a professional artist and reproduces her work on cards and textiles as well as original paintings and prints.
