Polperro is yet again hosting its annual and very popular fireworks display on 2 November (weather permitting). The magnificent display will take place against the stunning backdrop of Peak Rock at 7:30pm sharp. Entry is free but organisers say donations are gratefully received as the cost of the fireworks is self funded by the village. In addition there will be a bonfire on the beach and a Children’s Guy Fawkes competition which will be judged at 7pm by the fish market. Visitors can also enjoy a delicious BBQ which will take place alongside the fish market in the harbour in aid of the Rowing Club.

The Western Greyhound bus now comes down into the village centre during the winter so visitors can be transported into Polperro without having to walk down from the main car park.

The display is organised by trained personnel and promises to be a fantastic fireworks celebration in what is one of Cornwall’s most stunning and picturesque villages!
