Rare breeds exhibition

Bath-based artist Joanne Cope has a new collection of paintings to view online or in situ at her central Bath studio.

Joanne's recent works are graphic interpretations of cattle in their natural surroundings. Some of the paintings are of rare breeds, which is the subject matter of an exhibition that Joanne is working towards having at the end of the year.

Joanne says, "The majority of the paintings I have sold so far have been commissions. The clients have seen my work elsewhere and have asked me to prepare a number of colour compositions, so that one can be chosen to be worked into a final painting.

"Some people, however, prefer to see a finished painting, rather than place a commission, so a visit to the studio to view available work and see how and where it is created, will appeal to those clients."
