Ocean Flow Yoga and Silent Disco unite for another unique, sunset yoga experience at Fistral Beach, Cornwall, on Saturday 17th September.
After hugely successful first ever Silent Disco Yoga event in August, Newquay’s leading yoga practice Ocean Flow Yoga will once again team up again with Newquay based SSSilentdisco.co.uk to host September Silent Disco Yoga’ on Fistral Beach, Cornwall.
The concept of Silent Disco Yoga involves combining a yoga class with relaxing Balearic music played through wireless headphones and an instructor’s voiceover teaching the class.
With over 100 people attending the first ever beach class in August, the September class will set to welcome even more people to their unique beach class.
Just before the September sun sets, the iconic Fistral Beach will be set up for yoga fans to collected their glowing, wireless, noise isolating headphones and then place their yoga mats to face the sea for a completely different Yoga experience.
Jen from Ocean Flow Yoga will take the beach class through several Vinyasa movements, for an 75 minute session and will guide individuals through difficult poses and help newcomers to get into the flow of the beach Vinyasa yoga.
Jen said “The beach gives us great space for individuals to set up or for friends to come and practise together. The sunset on our last event was amazing and the energy of the class combined, made for a really exceptional yoga experience. We are looking forward to our September event!”
David Hallam said I’ve only done yoga a couple of times but the Silent Disco Yoga’ was just an experience that I had to try. When the sun set and the class ended I felt really relaxed and calm. The music and guidance using the headphone really helped me concentrate on my poses as well as give me flowing movement than I haven’t achieved before. It was a very calming and uplifting experience!"
With waves gently breaking in the front of the yoga class and the synchronised yoga silhouettes moved through their poses under the Cornish sunset, the class comes to a relaxing end just after 8pm.
