South Somerset Choral Society’s Easter concert

The concert will take place at 7.30pm on 22 March in the church of St. Peter and St Paul in South Petherton.

They are singing the St John Passion by JS Bach and will be accompanied by an orchestra and eight soloists. Musical Director Tim Donaldson says: “It is difficult to find enough superlatives to describe the music. It is simply one of the great masterpieces of all time.”

Tickets are £12 in advance and £14 on the door. They can be obtained from Barrons Chard, Lanes Garden Shop Ilminster, Crewkerne News Crewkerne, N&D News South Petherton or by ringing 01935 850483 or via the website southsomersetchoralsociety.org.uk
