If you’re travelling from the west to Sutton Bank the steep drive along the A170, as the road enters the North York Moors is just a taste of what awaits you at the summit.
The view from the top of Sutton Bank, is arguably one of the finest in the country, from the top of Whitestone Cliff you can see Goremire Lake with the the Vale of York in the background. You can also enjoy views of the rest of the Hambleton Hills and the Vale of Mowbray.
If you fancy a nice walk, you can take a trek southwards along part of the Cleveland Way National Trail to see the White Horse of Kilburn that is close by.
