The Canterbury Tales visitor attraction are all set to add a modern twist to the Nun’s Priest’s Tale this Easter (22nd – 25th April inclusive).
In Chaucer’s legendary fable we are immersed in to a world of talking animals who reflect on both human perception and fallacy, with Chauntecleer, a proud rooster and Russell, a wryly sly old fox, going head to head. In the old tale, Chauntecleer manages to outsmart Russell when he is trapped by the fox with his impending doom looking likely, and this Easter the Canterbury Tales will be inviting young visitors to try and help outfox him once again!
In every scene within the attraction one of Chauntecleers eggs will be cunningly positioned with a letter on it, and at the end of the tour, all the youngsters who can unjumble all the letters to spell out a famous word associated with Easter will receive a little chocolate egg of their own, as well as the chance to go in to a prize draw to win a family ticket to the regions premier farm and heritage attraction, Kent Life.
