A 64-day cycle ride taking in the entire coast of Great Britain is coming your way - and anyone can get involved

Stage 36 of the tour enters Kent after a ride from Southend on 8 August. Stage 36 leaves the attractions of Southend on 8 August. The route follows the banks of the Thames Estuary until crossing the river in Tibury. Passing Cliffe Pools the route arrives at the village of Hoo before crossing the River Medway. After Rochester, the stage ends in the Kent town of Chatham.

Departing Chatham Stage 37 heads east along the coast alongside the Isle of Sheppey and through the market town of Faversham in Kent. The route takes in the town of Whitstable famed for its oysters and the ancient village of Reculver complete with 12th Century towers and Roman fort. The stage finishees at Margate – the traditional seaside town is known for its sandy beaches and chilled out café culture.
