The coast is the subject of St Ives’ Porthminster Gallery’s latest show. This no annual fixture to the gallery’s programme focuses on the Cornish landscape and highlights individual artist’s inspirations from the county’s distinctive water edges and views.
This year, titled ‘Quay and Coast’, the exhibition will feature ten artists in total including an impressive seven painters - the most featured in the gallery’s coast show yet. From Erin Ward’s atmospheric landscapes to Angela Charles’ evocative abstracts to the contemporary, painterly ceramics of Craig Underhill, this show’s group of distinguished artists will showcase a celebration of the creativity spurred from the Cornish coast.
