Top tip: For a more adrenaline fuelled experience try surf-SUP-ing. Paddle-boarding is accessible to everyone and Polzeath provides the picture perfect location to experience something new.
Greenaway - Polzeath’s best kept secret
Just along the coast path from Polzeath is hidden gem of Greenaway. Nestled between Polzeath and Daymer Bay, Greenaway is a sandy cove with plenty of rock pools to explore. This lesser known beach is well worth a visit and is just a short stroll along the South West Coast Path from Polzeath.
Top tip: Pack up a barbecue and head to Greenaway for a barbecue. It’s a great spot for watching the famous Polzeath sunsets.
Swap the soft sand-between-your-toes moments for the rugged greenery of Pentire Point and The Rumps. These iconic landmarks are within walking distance from Polzeath beach and the views from the top alone are worth the walk. From Pentire Point you can see the mouth of the River Camel and across to Stepper Point. Top Tip: Head along to The Rumps which dates back to the Iron Age where it was used as a fort.
