The Yorkshire International Showjumping Event is the BIG event for the Yorkshire Equestrian calendar in 2011.

Taking place at the Motorpoint arena in Sheffield over the Easter Weekend (Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th April), the Yorkshire International Showjumping Event is an exciting new three star (CSI***) competition and offers �150,000 in rider prize money during the three days of the show.

Classes consist of Amateur Championships, National Championships and International Classes including the Puissance on Saturday Evening and International Grand Prix on Sunday evening.

Throughout the course of the event, the audience will be entertained by the ever popular, fast and furious Osbourne Refrigeration Double Harness Scurry, Horseball ‘Yorkshire vs Lancashire’ match demonstrations sponsored by the Great Yorkshire Show and the fearless Meddling Fire Glow and Fire Show incorporating daring acts with swirling patterns of light combined with huge flames choreographed to music.

With a range of fantastic hospitality facilities to suit all budgets, quality shopping area in the arena concourse offering everything from merchandise, clothing, gifts and jewellery and amazing arena displays, mixed with top class showjumping, the event makes a fabulous opportunity for the whole family to spend the Easter weekend together.
