The studio’ features a Victorian-style backdrop, a range of costumes and a professional photographer, and visitors can drop in for a free family portrait.

There will be Victorian photograph albums on show from the collection at the Cornish Studies Library in order to provide inspiration. There will also be children’s craft activities to help enhance the Victorian Christmas theme.

Kim Cooper, Cornwall Council Cornish Studies Principal Librarian, said:

“We were delighted with how much fun everyone had when we launched’ the studio earlier this year. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone dress up in Victorian finery and pose – with very stern faces! – again this year as part of Redruth’s Christmas celebrations.”
