A Cornish eco holiday complex has been awarded Gold at the prestigious VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, which took place at Cheltenham Racecourse last night.
Little White Alice, in Carnmenellis situated between Falmouth, Truro and Redruth, features six 5* holiday cottages, nestled in 25 acres and was established with the aim of becoming one of the greenest holiday destinations in the country.
Now, Little White Alice has been recognised for its eco credentials in the Sustainable Tourism Category at the VisitEngland Awards; a ceremony which rewards the cream of tourism based businesses throughout the country.
Rosie Hadden, owner of Little White Alice, was delighted that her business was recognised at the national awards ceremony saying:
“We are thrilled with the result and the evening was a great opportunity for us to meet some of the best tourism businesses across the country. To be included in this list and take home the gold is an honour.”
Having won a total of ten awards at both Cornish and national ceremonies over the last three years, Little White Alice is proving a big hit with holiday makers and locals alike.
Little White Alice’s accumulated total of ten awards, ranges from Gold in Sustainable Tourism at the Cornwall Tourism Awards in 2011, to Best Artwork at the World Belly Board Competition and now includes the prestigious Visit England accolade.
