What's on in Cornwall this half term
'Bugs and Bees' at
From 28 May until 3 June, Springfields Fun Park will be holding a week of insect-themed activities. From mini-beast hunts and insect hotels, to bug-themed arts and crafts, there will be plenty of creepy crawly fun and games to keep children entertained.
'Don’t Wake the Fish' at The
Food, drink, music, arts and crafts– what more could you ask for in a weekend? Between the 27 and 29 May, The Gurnards Head will host three days of fantastic live music and activities for the whole family. Children can play in the Little Urchins tent, whilst adults can enjoy real ales and delicious grub from the EATDRINKSLEEP field kitchen.
Dinosaur Week at
From 28 May – 5 June, visitors can step back to the Jurassic period for a day full of family fun at Flambards. Explore a prehistoric-themed landscape, home to more than a dozen different dinosaurs, whilst spotting giant dinosaur eggs and pteranodon hatchlings.
Children are invited to fossil hunt in the Dino Dig for the fossilised remains of a tyrannosaurus rex. Don’t miss the Flambards Creepy Crawly Wild Animal Show taking place 29 May - 2 June.

Between the 30 May and 5 June, there will be over 150 events taking place throughout Falmouth including: music, art and crafts, walking, gig racing and much more, keeping both children and parents entertained. What’s more, the event is a non-profit community festival which has helped to raise £75,000 since its establishment in 2006. Have fun at the seven day event, whilst doing your bit for charity. It's a thumbs up from us.
“Heroes Week” at
Between 28May and5June,visitors can expect lots of entertainment at Camel Creek Adventure Park, with 'super' special appearances from popular heroes; Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman.
The park will also be running a“Design a Hero” competition and prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place with a Child’s Annual Membership up for grabs!
A three day event packed with entertainment and activities will take Pendennis Castle back in time to the 1940s over half term. From 31 May – 2 June the castle will bring wartime spirit to its visitors with music, dancing, military re-enactment groups, and special firings of Pendennis’ impressive collection of period guns.
Visitors can play their way around the Eden Project this half term, with a generous range of over-sized retro games to entertain all ages.
