Downton Abbey creator Lord Julian Fellowes and Lady Emma Fellowes joined guests at a glamorous ball in aid of the Brainwave charity, of which they are patrons.

Martinis were shaken, not stirred, at the 007 Tuxedo Ball at The Mere Golf Resort and Spa, which raised £83,000 for the charity’s Milestone appeal which supports the work of therapists to help children achieve important milestones. The ball featured entertainment from the Bogus Brothers and Bond songs sung by Alice Bailey.

Joanne Freeman, community manager for Brainwave, said: ‘It was a special night for Brainwave with wonderful support from Eventstation and performers. A heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended.’
