Representatives of sponsors Deloitte, Santander, Q Hotels,BBC Radio Manchester and Female First joined previous award winners and members of the Inspiring Women Association for drinks and canapés at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, for the launch of the 2014 Inspiring Women Awards.

Founder of the Awards, Hale-based businesswoman Jacqueline Hughes Lundy, announced two new awards alongside the existing categories.

The new accolades, the Technology Award and the Nurturing Female Talent Company Award, were welcomed as being topical and a reflection of how thus awards event has maintained relevance over 21 years.

Guest award announcers will once again be revealing the winners at the next Inspiring Women Awards lunch on Thursday 15th May 2014 at The Midland Hotel. Cheshire Life and Lancashire Life magazines will once again be supporting these Awards and looking for nominations from readers.

Nominations are now open for all six categories and can be made at www.inspiringawards.co.uk. The closing date for nominations is 04/04/2014.
