Soccer star and racehorse owner Michael Owen joined readers of Lancashire Life for a fabulous day out at Haydock Park.
Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a glass of champagne and amazing views of the racecourse from their private box. Prior to the first race, they joined the Lancashire Life team for a delicious three course lunch before lining the balcony to watch their horses’ race to the finish line.
Afternoon tea was served part-way through the day and the event drew to a close with the Lancashire Life Maiden Stakes with winning jockey Jack Mitchell riding to victory on Elsiniaar.
