Around 30,000 visitors packed the prom in Morecambe for the latest vintage festival weekend co-organised by design guru Wayne Hemingway.

A damp Saturday was followed by a gloriously sunny Sunday as people headed to the iconic Midland Hotel where classic cars and a vintage market provided entertainment. There were music events around the resort all weekend, a fireworks and Spitfire display, an evening ball and separate 1940s events in the Winter Gardens. Wayne, who was born in the resort, said: ‘This weekend has been totally uplifting.’
