The 14th Prince’s Trust Diamond Ball raised thousands for the charity’s vital work with disadvantaged young people
Singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor topped the bill at this year’s Prince’s Trust Diamond Ball in Liverpool, which raised more than £100,000.
The funds will go towards supporting the charity’s work with thousands of disadvantaged young people across the region, helping them obtain work, training or education.
The occasion, at the city’s historic St George’s Hall, began with guests enjoying a Laurent-Perrier champagne reception and a four-course dinner by Horseradish, before waiting with anticipation to see who had won a £10,000 diamond donated by jewellers and headline sponsor David M. Robinson. There was also entertainment by Chocolate Charlie.
