Style and substance in the Invincibles Lounge at Preston North End,
A host of stylish ladies attended the Rainbow House Royal Ascot Ladies Day, helping to raised over £10,000 for the Ormskirk based charity which offers rehabilitation, education and fun for children, young people and adults with neurological conditions.
Supported by Farington Lodge and held in the Invincibles Lounge at Preston North End, guests enjoyed a glass of bubbly on arrival before sitting down for a two course lunch with live entertainment from singer Michael Cosgrove. There was also live coverage from Royal Ascot, as well as a best dress competition, and between races ladies could browse a range of exhibitors’ stands which included hand bags, clothing and candles.
Carole Cochrane, chief executive of Rainbow House, said: ‘Our thanks go to everyone who joined us and made the day such a great success. The ladies had a wonderful time and there were lots of winners but especially Rainbow House.’
