Guests channelled the glamour of the Roaring 20s and raised a fantastic £125,000 for Boot Out Breast Cancer at their Gatsby Ball, at the Principal Hotel in Manchester city centre.

Charity patrons including paralympian Dame Sarah Storey DBE, renowned surgeon Professor Andrew Baildam and Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham joined the fun to raise funds for a tomography machine.

Boot Out Breast Cancer founder Debbie Dowie, who has raised £750,000 for equipment for NHS hospitals, said: ‘The ball was a terrific success. We are now able to buy not only the tomography machine but equipment for the Warrington and Halton NHS hospital.’
