Live music, stalls with tempting buys and thousands of visitors all added up to a memorable weekend at the second ParkgateFest on the Wirral.

ParkgateFest was created by local residents and traders last year to showcase all that the area has to offer. This year the festival began on a soggy Saturday morning but the clouds lifted and everyone had a great weekend. There was something for all ages.

Spokesperson Sue Saunders said: ‘Everyone who works on the festival has to be passionate about it as it’s such hard work but the teamwork has been really incredible.

‘I’m thrilled that Sunday was such a lovely day. We had a mix of local bands and tribute bands,’ said Sue.
