The sixth Vintage by the Sea weekend at Morecambe turned out to be the most successful yet with estimated crowds of 45,000 joining in the fun over the two days.
Festival founder, Lancashire born fashion and design guru Wayne Hemingway, said the weather had helped to bring an exceptionally high volume of visitors from outside the region.
‘From traders to local independent businesses to the Midland Hotel, everyone keeps telling us it was the biggest Vintage by the Sea yet,’ he said.
