An inspiring afternoon spent in the company of inspiring women in the five star luxury of the Lowry Hotel, sounds tempting? Well when we add in some bubbles on arrival, a three course lunch and hearing the stories from some of our most amazing women in the region, where else would you want to be?

The annual Inspiring Women Awards, sponsored by Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise, will be celebrating 27 years on May 10th, showcasing those women who inspire us to want to do more. This year we have two new awards: The Manchester Bee award sponsored by I Love Manchester, which will be aiming to recognise those women who work to make Manchester the great city it is on a local, national or international stage. Joining the Manchester Bee Award is the Here comes the Girls Award, sponsored by Carden Park Hotel. This award is seeking to recognise those men, women or organisations who are challenging systems that don’t work for women or promoting gender informed products, services or closing the gender pay gap. The awards recognising our champions in business, sponsored by Deloitte and community sponsored by BBC Radio Manchester will also be recognised.

Cheshire Life and Lancashire Life once again delighted to be supporting these awards and sponsoring The Constance Award.

Editor Katie Mulloy said: ‘I am very pleased that Cheshire Life is involved in supporting the Inspiring Women Awards – there are certainly plenty of inspiring women all over Cheshire. This is a wonderful event and I am sure there will be some very tough competition for the awards.’

All finalists will be interviewed at the lunch by BBC Stoke assistant editor and presenter, Michelle Daniel, before the winners are announced. This year the winners will celebrate twice – once at the lunch and then a few months later when they will enjoy a VIP spa day at the newly opened £10million spa at Carden.

The lunch will be supporting the Inspiring Young Woman Foundation, founded to provide bursaries for the winners of the Inspiring Young Women Award and fund projects aimed at the 16-25 year age group. This year, Onside Warrington Youth Club will be the beneficiary and sharing what these awards mean to the young women they support.

If you want to be part of these celebrations, sponsored by the Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise, corporate packages and individual tickets are available from inspiringawards.co.uk
