2020 Brailsford Dinner Dance, Burton upon Trent

The annual dinner of the Brailsford & District Ploughing & Hedgecutting Society was held on 24th January at The Pirelli Stadium in Burton upon Trent.

Over 236 people enjoyed the evening, which included an excellent meal and a raffle that raised around £800.

Long service awards were announced for Colin Prince, who received his award from Chairman Frank Matthews, and Ken Smith, who was unable to be present.

The date of Wednesday 7th October has been set for the Society's 115th Annual Ploughing Match, which is always a popular and well-attended county event with both horse and tractor ploughing. The venue will be Bradley Pastures and Hall Farm (DE6 1PG), Bradley, near Ashbourne, by kind permission of JCW Archer and RE Archer Farms Ltd.
