The annual West Lancashire Scout Founder’s Feast marks the birthday of the founder of Scouting, Robert Baden Powell, to celebrate all that is great about Scouting in the region.
It provides a chance for its adult volunteers and their families to celebrate their achievements and enjoy the time and effort they have committed over the year.
This year’s theme was ‘Thank you’ and attendees were treated to a formal Dinner Dance with live music from The Midnight Cats, great food, a drinks reception, speeches and a DJ.
The event wasn’t a fundraising event, but rather an opportunity for members to share their experiences, reflect on their achievements in the past year and for the West Lancashire Scout County to thank them for what they do.
