Guests of the annual Lancaster Homeless action service fundraising ball, now in its third year, enjoyed a successful evening at The Globe Arena, Morecambe Football Club.
Hosted by The Bay radio DJ Danny Matthews and Thomas Noblett, managing director of the Langdale Chase Hotel, the event was attended by over 200 people, including X Factor finalist and local lad Paul Akister who entertained the crowd, and it raised over £13,000. The money will be put towards a purchase of the new building, where the local charity can continue the essential work to support the most vulnerable people of Lancaster.
