1.Enjoy world-class rugby with Sharp’s Brewery

To celebrate the British & Irish Lions Tour currently happening in New Zealand, Sharp’s Brewery has organised a free Lion’s inspired rugby event at Camborne RFC on Saturday 1st July for all the family. Inspired by a match which took place there in 1924 between the All Blacks and Cornwall, Sharp’s (with the help of former England captain Phil Vickery) has crafted a Lion’s inspired team which will take on a Kiwi team. This event is free and open to all, kids can get stuck into watching superb rugby whilst parents sit back and enjoy a complimentary pint of Doom Bar, is there a better way to spend a Saturday in Cornwall whatever the weather?

2.Get lost in the woods at Rogue Theatre’s Wild Woodland Summer Ball

Follow the winding woodland paths at Tehidy and become immersed in this authentic outdoor theatre experience with Rogue Theatre. The Wild Woodland Summer Ball will fuel children’s imaginations with intriguing tales, live music, acrobatics and dance. After the shows there is free face-painting and crafts, and all are invited to join in the dance in these magical woods. Rogue Theatre know that sitting through two hours of theatre is not for all, so it has created Wilder Shows’ which are shorter and suited for those who would feel more relaxed in the company of other wilder audiences. The Wild Woodland Summer Ball will be gathering twice daily in Tehidy woods on the following dates in August: 23rd, 24th, 25h, 26th, 27th, 28th and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd of September 2017.

5.Discover diverse marine life at Newquay’s Blue Reef Aquarium

A trip to Blue Reef Aquarium is ideal for keeping the kids entertained on a rainy day. The Aquarium makes learning about Cornwall’s marine life truly fun and exciting.
