The Great North Folk Festival
The Great North Folk Festival takes place in the beautiful Botton village in the heart o The North York Moors National Park, and the three day event is full of fantastic live folk music and much more.

Duncombe Park Country Fair is the perfect day for the entire family as there is something for everyone including horseshows, spectacular stunt shows and some delicious food on offer.
North Yorkshire County Show
The 39th annual show will be even bigger this year with exciting displays and demonstrations, a whole range of main ring attractions, classic cars and motorcycles, plenty of animals and much more.
This year, Arthington Show will be celebrating their 100th horticultural and agricultural show which has plenty of family fun and entertainment for everyone.

The Great Yorkshire Show
The Great Yorkshire Show is one of the UK’s most premier agricultural events on the social calendar and this year will be celebrating its 159th birthday. www.greatyorkshireshow.co.uk
The Driffield Show is believed to be one of the biggest single day county shows in the country attracting as many as 30,000 people to the Driffield showground. Visitors often pack out rows of stalls selling crafts, country wear and locally produced food as well as marvel at champion livestock as their owners collect hard won trophies.

Kettlewell Scarecrow Festival
It is known as one of the UK’s best scarecrow festivals and is back for another year. It is a great family day out and you and the family can follow the trail through the idyllic Yorkshire village.
The Ripley Show has something for everyone with exciting competitive events, demonstrations, country activities, trade stand and so much more.
23 & 24 September
A creative festival celebrating of all things woolly and wonderful with exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops held at the Skipton Auction Mart.
September 30 – October 1
South Yorkshire Shooting Show & Game Fair
Held annually at Doncaster racecourse, the South Yorkshire Shooting Show & Game Fair is designed to combine the best in shooting and hunting equipment with Country fair shows and activities that the whole family can enjoy.

It’s one of the last countryside events of the year that offers a great rural showcase for all the family, organised by the Yorkshire
Agricultural Society and held at the Great Yorkshire Show showground, Harrogate.
