Women’s Institute members from Lancashire gathered at Shaw Hill Golf Club, Whittle-le-Woods, for a charity luncheon. The event, attended by 121 ladies, raised just over £1,000 for the Associated Country Women of the World, a charity long supported by the WI worldwide.
Guest speaker at the lunch was Juliet Childs from the ACWW, who spoke about the charity and its projects.
Elaine Cuzner, who organised the luncheon, said: ‘The lunch was absolutely delicious and a huge thanks to all the WI ladies in Lancashire who supported the event.’
