Afternoon tea has grown in popularity as a summer pastime, here are a selection of some of the best on offer across the Derbyshire.
Situated in the 17th century stable block adjacent to Haddon Hall, the Haddon restaurant provides wonderful views of Haddon’s parkland and the River Wye. Guests can indulge in a traditional afternoon tea, featuring a selection of sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and cream and mouth-watering homemade cakes with a pot of tea or a glass of prosecco.
All food at the restaurant is prepared in-house using fresh, local ingredients, and is open to the general public as well as Hall guests.

The Appletree Gift Shop and Teahouse
In the beautiful village of Ockbrook just off the A52 is The Apple Tree, a cosy, welcoming, multi award winning quintessential teahouse offering beautiful breakfasts, lunches, traditional cream teas, afternoon teas and a cake counter full of mouth watering layer cakes, light as a feather tray bakes and loaves.
