A ball organised by the PTFA of All Hallows Catholic High School in Penwortham has raised £3,200.
Slaters Catering hosted the event at Leyland Golf Club, which included entertainment from the school band, Darrel Edwards and The Notes.
Organiser Debi Caunce said: ‘We are very pleased that all the profit from this year’s ball will benefit the science department, who will purchase new equipment to ensure the school can offer the best facilities. We’ve had wonderful support from local businesses donating prizes and would like to thank everyone involved for their help.’
