A cabaret themed ball was held in aid of the Anthony Nolan charity at the Pavilion at Chester Racecourse.
Jointly held by the Cheshire and North Wales Law Society, the event saw 300 guest dress either for cabaret or black tie and raised over £40,000 for the blood cancer charity. Attendees enjoyed a drinks reception, dinner and cabaret, as well as dancing from pupils from the Hammond School, Chester, and opera singer, Alexandra Lowe. An auction was later hosted by Christina Trevanion, presenter of BBC’s Flog It! and Bargain Hunt, from Trevanion and Dean Auctioneers.
