Brookside creator Phil Redmond and his wife, Alexis, hosted an art event at their home, Tirley Garth, near Tarporley, to raise money for the Countess of Chester Hospital’s Babygrow Appeal.

Art 100 involved 100 pieces of art being donated and the buyer of each ticket purchased won a piece of art. The occasion was attended by 200 guests, including patron Louise Minchin from the BBC’s Breakfast programme and raised over £21,000. An auction included appealing prizes, such as the Beatles Maquette and a Peter Hayes sculpture.
