Avening Village Fete will once again be taking place – this year on Sunday, June 2 starting at 2pm.

It will, of course, include the now famous duck races, which take place down the village stream which runs through the centre of Avening.

There will be an art exhibition in Avening Church - a great opportunity to see inside this remarkable building which was built in 1087 by Queen Matilda, the wife of William the Conqueror.

There will also be a dog show and all the normal stalls and activities for adults and children alike.
