More than £8,000 was raised for the Blue Skies Hospitals Fund and Cancer Research by 300 generous supporters who staged a Black Tie & Diamonds gala evening at the Woodlands Suite at Ribby Hall Village.
The event was organised by Beverley Davis in memory of her husband, Gren, who died from bone marrow cancer in his early 50s. After dinner there was an auction and raffle and Bev made a speech thanking guests and giving details of the charities.
