Ankur Biswas, Head Chef from the Royal Castle Hotel in Dartmouth will be cooking a selection of meals at the showhome on the Bloor Homes development, Newcomen Fields in Stoke Fleming in January.

The free demonstration will involve Ankur cooking two dishes, a starter of chicken wings with scallops cooked with wine, cardamom and cinnamon, and a main course of braised turbot with spinach. Step by step instructions will be given so that the dishes can easily be replicated at home.

Bloor Homes Regional Sales Manager, Gina Wilson said: “We’re very excited about hosting Ankur’s cookery demonstration at our showhome and we hope people enjoy seeing him cook a range of mouth-watering dishes.

Ankur will be using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible to showcase the range of beautiful produce which is available on our doorstep. Set in the heart of our showhome the demonstration will be set to dazzle!”

The demonstration will take place in ‘The Venus’ in its fully fitted Symphony kitchen, equipped with all modern appliances and French doors leading to the rear garden. The Venus is a four bedroom detached, three storey home, offering a spacious lounge, kitchen/dining room, four bedrooms, two ensuites and a family bathroom. The master bedroom occupies the entire top floor.
