Bolton Ladies Fundraising Group held a lunch at Rivington Barn, Rivington, in aid of Urban Outreach, a Bolton charity which works with disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals.

The event, which was attended by 240 ladies including guest speaker, author and food writer Caroline James, raised £3,000 for the charity. Beales of Bolton, who have supported the lunches over the years, also presented a fun and glamorous fashion show.

Fort Alice and Macmillan Cancer Care were chosen as the charities for next year.
