At least 12 gardens will be open to visit at this traditional village event in Box, near Stroud, including some new and others familiar from recent years.
Nailsworth Silver Band will play on the village green, and plants, cream teas and ices will be for sale. Box Art Group will have an exhibition of their work in the Village Hall, and St Barnabas will have a floral display in the church. Admission is £5, accompanied children free.
The event is a major fundraiser for local charities as well as for the Village Hall, and over the years has enabled many improvements to happen which would not otherwise have been possible.
