Ditchling resident Richard de Winter established Bradshaw & Lloyd in 1990 and has been selling the premium English men’s heritage brands of Loake, Tricker’s and Sanders, as well as the famous American Sebago brand to the discerning buyer via mail order and the internet ever since.

Originally based in London he has now opened a shop at 84 High Street, Hurstpierpoint.

Established in the nineteenth century the famous English shoe brands of Loake, Sanders and Tricker’s, all based in Northamptonshire, continue to make shoes in the traditional handcrafted goodyear welted method. This technique is recognized worldwide as the best method of shoe construction, producing a durable, comfortable and fully repairable shoe, whilst the uppers are sourced from the finest European hides. The styles on display offer an extensive range of both modern and classical designs. The shop also stocks a wide range of Sebago shoes for men and women: the classic Dockside deck shoe, recreational sailing shoes and loafers.

Bradshaw & Lloyd in Hurstpierpoint has the largest range of Loake and Sebago shoes in the South East of England. The shop is open 5 days a week from Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm with late night opening on Thursdays until 8pm.
