Exhibitors not to be missed at this year’s Bride: The Wedding Show

The North West’s most prestigious bridal event, Bride: The Wedding Show, returns to Tatton Park in February (Saturday 4 and Sunday 5) – and celebrates its crystal anniversary. Here’s a look at a selection of unmissable exhibitors, as the show prepares to proudly showcase more than 150 of the region’s finest wedding suppliers.

Finding your ideal venue can be hard work, but with a wide range of beautiful venues to lust over you’re bound to find the perfect one. Exhibiting venues at this year’s show range from the Chester Grosvenor, complete with luxurious spa facilities that have been specially designed to evoke a state of relaxation – perfect for the night before the big day; Colshaw Hall, one of Cheshire’s most sought after venues who will be expanding their offering with a brand new venue in July 2017; and Big Chief Tipis who offer a unique range of tipis to suit both summer and winter weddings for those couples who are looking to put on a festival-style wedding, and create a magical atmosphere.

Wedding dress exhibitors will include the return of Maria Modes Bridalwear, who will be the only exhibitor showcasing bridal wear, bridesmaids’ dresses and menswear on the catwalk. Run by Emma Boycott - daughter of well-known Cricket commentator Geoffrey Boycott – the award-winning retailer has something for everyone with over 150 dresses on offer.

On hand to make sure you shine on your big day are iconic jewellers Christopher Evans Goldsmiths, where assistant Nicky Acton was recently awarded the industry gold standard NAG Professional Jewellers Diploma; and Henry D Johnstone who specialise in bespoke design jewellery, allowing couples to bring their dreams to life.

Luxury florist Joseph Massie will be exhibiting at the show for the first-time this year, and will be doing so on the return of a second Australian tour. Director Joseph is a five time RHS Chelsea Flower Show gold medallist and has conducted several international tours.

If you are still searching for a wedding band to help your guests put on their dancing shoes, visit the luxuriously presented band-performance area to listen to acoustic trio Soul Revolver, who provide a varied set list and include songs from the past five decades up to modern day. Vibrant electric and acoustic musicians String Infusion are also amongst those set to perform.

To make sure you capture all the memories on your big day, international multi-award winning Sarah Bruce Photography offers a unique style of photography, and Stephen McGowan who works to give modern twists on timeless styles of wedding photography will also be showcasing.

Cutting the cake may be one of the most important moments at every wedding reception, which means choosing a delicious cake is essential. Wedding cake exhibitors will include Confetti and Crumbs, Yvonne’s Cakery and Buttercup Cakes.

For visitors looking for something unique to help their wedding stand out, there are plenty of fantastic ideas to gain inspiration from. The Prosecco Pot offers the nation’s favourite fizz from a vintage horse box trailer, that has been converted into a beautiful prosecco bar where you can even request the tipple on tap. Shropshire Petals offers biodegradable, natural petal confetti and have even shared their favourite confetti mixes matching with Pantone’s colour of the year for 2017.

Cheshire’s premier wedding exhibition, Bride: The Wedding Show is held in a spectacular marquee set within the picturesque grounds of Tatton Park in Knutsford, attracting thousands of engaged couples planning their perfect wedding.

As well as discovering a host of suppliers to help you organise your dream wedding, the show makes a great day out with a full programme of entertainment and choreographed fashion shows for everyone to enjoy.
