Broughton House, care home for ex-servicemen and women, held its inaugural Gala Dinner at The Midland Hotel, Manchester. The evening, compered by Granada Television’s Paul Crone, featured entertainment from the Lancashire Fusiliers band and Dominic Halpin and the Honey Bs.
The event raised over £21,500 for nursing and residential care for veterans in the North West. The night was the start of a two year drive to raise awareness for development of the charity. www.broughtonhouse.com
