A party was held at the Fusiliers Museum in Bury to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the law firm, Butcher & Barlow.

The firm was founded in Bury in 1887 by John Woodward Barlow and Samuel Foster Butcher and over the years has grown into an established and respected law firm, with ten offices across Cheshire and Lancashire.

The event was attended by over 150 guests, including the Mayor of Bury, Councillor Mike Connolly and his consort Ian Hargreaves.

Charles Barlow, the present senior partner and great-grandson of John Woodward Barlow, said: ‘Our success and longevity is thanks to our clients and professional friends. The party was a thank you to those who have been with us a long time and others with whom we are pleased to be forging new relations for their continued support.’
